Overview
We performed two five-question surveys of U.S. oncologists to gauge the impact of cancer treatment costs on prescribed therapies. In these surveys, we asked oncologists questions about cancer treatment costs from multiple angles:
- Impact of drug pricing and value on cancer treatment plans
- Financial impact of cancer treatment on patients
- Frequency of conversations between physicians and cancer patients on drug/treatment pricing
- Hypothetical prescribing levels of new cancer drugs with given price and efficacy parameters.
