A European Commission spokesperson has said the commission will support co-legislators “in case they intend to issue a possible corrigendum to the legislation,” which would expand the range of products eligible to benefit from up to four additional years to comply with Medical Device Regulation to include Class 1 reusable devices, such as scalpels.
